Are you a florist or a full-service event designer?

Designs by Oochay offers both. We provide standalone luxury floral design (bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony arches, installations) for clients who already have a planner or venue coordinator, and full-service event and floral design for clients who want one team to handle the full creative vision—concept, decor, florals, and installation—from start to finish. During your consultation, we’ll help you choose the level of service that fits your event.

What’s included in full-service event & floral design?

Our full-service includes concept development and theme creation; a complete design board with renderings; sourcing and styling of decor elements; all floral design and installation work; and on-site setup and styling, so your vision comes to life exactly as planned.

What floral services do you offer?

Custom bouquets and boutonnieres, ceremony arches and aisle decor, reception centerpieces, floral ceilings and walls, hanging installations, floral backdrops, and sourcing of premium and exotic blooms. We also handle on-site setup, styling, and breakdown so you don’t have to think about logistics on the day of your event.

Yes. We design for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, corporate galas and product launches, milestone birthdays, holiday decor, and other private celebrations.

We focus on floral and event design, the creative vision, decor, and florals that shape how your event looks and feels. We partner with some amazing event planners and coordinators in the event industry and are happy to make recommendations for you

How much does a luxury wedding florist or event designer cost?

Many factors influence pricing, including guest count, venue, production complexity, and whether you're booking florals only or full-service event design. Our minimum investment for full-service event design starts at $25,000, and floral design services begin at $15,000. We create custom proposals after understanding your vision, guest count, and priorities; submit an inquiry through our form to request one.

What’s included in a quote?

For full-service event design, we include all rentals, decor, and florals, including delivery, setup & teardown. For floral design service, we include the vessel rentals (vases, arches, etc), candles, and florals, including delivery, setup & teardown. To encourage a stress-free process for you, we provide all vessels required to execute the floral design and do not allow DIY

Yes, we require a minimum investment of $25,000 for full-service event design, and $15,000 for floral design services

Where are you based, and where do you work?

Designs by Oochay is based in Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, DC, and we serve clients nationwide, including destination weddings.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we design events outside the Atlanta and DC markets nationwide. Reach out with your venue and location so we can discuss travel logistics in your proposal.

How far in advance should I book a florist or event designer?

We strongly encourage you to book your event and floral designer once you have secured a venue, typically 12-18 months for peak wedding season. This gives us adequate time to design and source for your event without incurring hefty costs.

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

After you submit an inquiry, a member of our team will reach out to schedule your initial consultation, understand your event vision, and make sure we are aligned. Afterward, you’ll receive a design proposal and contract. We then schedule a design meeting to address all your concerns, answer any questions, and provide feedback on the proposal until you are satisfied with the visual direction. Once you're satisfied, we execute the contract. The final stage is the venue walkthrough in the months or weeks leading up to the event day.

Can I bring a Pinterest board or inspiration photos to my consultation?

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. While we love when clients arrive with a clear vision, we’re also equipped to build a full concept from scratch based on a conversation alone, with no reference images required.

Yes — our full design gallery, organized by weddings, corporate events, mitzvahs, celebrations, and brand activations, is available on our site, along with client testimonials.

What if I don’t know how to describe the style I want?

That’s part of what we’re here for. During your consultation, we translate loose ideas, moods, or even a single inspiration photo into a full design concept; you don’t need floral or design vocabulary to work with us.

Yes. Every proposal is built around your color palette, venue, and personal style, from soft neutral “quiet luxury” palettes to bold, vibrant statement designs.
